St. Urban Distillery — Visit & Tasting

A visit to St. Urban Distillery in Cornaiano, a family-run house led by the Leimgruber family, where fruit grown on their own land is distilled into refined grappas, fruit brandies, and an award-winning gin — each spirit crafted without added aromas or sugars, and matured over long periods to develop its distinctive character.

Afternoon

Lunch

Lunch at a local restaurant, using local ingredients, and strong focus on the territory.

Afternoon

Cantina Girlan — Winery Visit

A visit to Cantina Girlan, one of the oldest and most respected wineries in South Tyrol, founded in 1923 within a historic 16th-century farmhouse. Around 200 grower families cultivate roughly 215 hectares across the Oltradige and Bassa Atesina areas, producing wines celebrated for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Hof des Wandels — Maso Tour

A walk through the vegetable garden at Hof des Wandels, among aromatic herbs, vegetables, fruit, and flowers, guided by the hosts' philosophy and story — with a focus on regenerative agriculture, alternative growing methods, direct production and sales, and aromatherapy. The visit follows the group's own interests and concludes at the farm shop with something to drink and unhurried conversation. With the possibility to do a fermentation workshop.

Alternative

Heppan Castle — Visit

A visit to Heppan Castle (Hocheppan), one of South Tyrol's most important medieval castles, built around 1130 by Count Ulrich II. Its small chapel, consecrated in 1131, houses some of the best-preserved Romanesque frescoes in Tyrol, including the celebrated 'dumpling eater' scene.
